Aafrin Yaseen

Senior Project Officer

Aafrin Yaseen is a LLB (UK) degree holder, who is reading her Attorney-At-Law at Sri Lankan Law College. She has been a part of IYAP since 2017 as a Volunteer. Her major interests are on Social Work, Youth Development and being a Social Advocate. She strongly believes in “Work for a cause, not for applause” slogan as her motto of the work.

Ishani Jayasinghe

Senior Finance and Administration Manager

Ishani Jayasinghe is a business management expert with over 15 years of experience in corporate management sector. Ishani worked closely with the C-level management in formulating and implementing strategies to Asia and, East Asian regions. Her interpersonal and leadership skills have enabled her to build strong relationships with many professionals, internal and external stakeholders throughout her career. Ishani holds associate membership of CIMA and CGMA, also she has a master’s degree from University of Colombo specialized in Finance and she is a Bachelor of Commerce degree holder from University of Colombo. Ishani is a past finalist of Associate Certified Charted Accountants in UK.

Gothamee Narangala

Admin Assistant

Gothamee Narangala is an undergraduate who specializes in International Studies in University of Kelaniya. She has keen interests in social and humanitarian work. She has done researches and publications on her fields of interest.

Christena Paul

Accountant

Christena Paul is an experienced accountant who joined recently to support the local operations in Sri Lanka. As an enthusiastic and dynamic youth, she supports the projects and she feels privileged to be a part of the energetic and co-operative team.

Mohammed Wazeer Gaffoor

Wazeer is a young experienced professional designer, who have completed Diploma in multimedia successfully . He is passionate in community and youth development and looking forward to incorporate his skills and knowledge for the betterment of the society.

Zumana Ziyad is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Kelaniya and following Law studies as well. Her journey with International Youth Alliance for Peace started in 2019 and the motto of being an inspiration and spreading positivity, drives her life energy with the ambition of becoming an activist toward positive attitudinal transformation in the community

Shainuja Inpanathan

Community Facilitator

Shainujaa Inpanathan is a Training Facilitator of International Youth Alliance for Peace (IYAP). She is also an Independent Trainer and an Announcer who is passionate to work in the fields of youth & women empowerment, volunteering, social work, leadership, gender and peace building. She is currently reading her Bachelors in International Relations and as an emerging young leader. She envisions a peaceful future generation with united young leaders.

Faris Moulana

Community Facilitator

Faris Moulana is a Training Facilitator of International Youth Alliance for Peace (IYAP) He is The National Coach of Sri Lanka’s 68th National Game and the Chairmen of Technical Commission, General Secretary of French Savate National Federation Sri Lanka. Gen. Secretary of World MMA Commission for Sri Lanka. He is an experienced Marketing Consultant, an Ex. Executive branch In- charge in a leading Company & Business development planer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and service industry, skilled in Business Development, Segmentation, Targeting & Positioning, Office administration and Project Coordination. He is interested in working with Social Work organizations based on diversity, Peace building, Skills developing and Community wellness for Self Satisfaction. He believes this is a precious opportunity to work as a Training Facilitator in IYAP.

Jesuthasan Dinoshan Croos

Community Facilitator

Dinoshan Croos is a Training Facilitator of International Youth Alliance for Peace, (IYAP) and has completed his Higher Diploma in Philosophy and Humanities in Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) of Rome. He has prior experience in teaching in International school and Career Guidance counseling for youth at risk. He is overwhelmed in teaching and other co-relevant activities. He is passionate about philosophical implications and questions. He follows a quote said by Protagoras “Man is the measure of all things.”

Sasika Konara

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

A Social Worker who has 9+ year experience in working with individuals, groups, communities, organizations and engage in program and project monitoring in non-profit organizations. He is also expertised in Project/Program Planning, Project Development, Budgeting, Monitoring & Evaluation, Fundraising, Stakeholder Liaison and Partnership Development and experienced with social research, both qualitative and quantitative. He is a team-player with healthy rapport building and maintaining abilities, strong analytical, coordinating skills with an attention to detail. Besides, an effective community organizer learned from people (women, farmers, community leaders, children, volunteers, state, and non-state staff) collaborating in needs-based processes for integrated sustainable development projects.
