Shamsullah Shams

Chair of the Board

Mr. Shamsullah Shams holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Application from Bangalore University, India and has over 7 years of working experience with National and International Organizations. He specializes in Computer Networks, Technology for Development, System Development, and IT management. The fact to highlight about Mr. Shams, he is passionate about sustainable development through youth empowerment, and putting technology as the core of the solution. He serves as Chair of Board for IYAPA (International Youth Alliance for Peace) in Afghanistan, and Executive Member of Asia Pacific School of Internet Governance (APSIG), as well as he is leading the National Information Technology Professionals Association of Afghanistan (NITPAA) which is a social , volunteer and not-for-profit association engaged to strengthen the IT sector of Afghanistan, provide IT education and awareness, support and advice government IT policies, provide professional development opportunities to its members, and monitor implications of technology on Afghan society.

Shokria Qazizada

Board Member

Ms. Shokria Qazizada is a social and women rights activist. She has respectively held posts as coordinator at WESSDO and as deputy of Afghanistan at ADWDC ( from 2012 to 2013. She was also member of Afghanistan at National Journalism Union (from 2012 to 2014)and she has worked as administrative manager at RSDO (from 2015 to 2017). Ms. Qazizada was deputy of the Peace Club at Herat University Peace Center (from 2016 to 2018) meanwhile she has worked in the field of monitoring and advocacy at UNDP. During the years 2017 and 2018 she was an advocacy trainer at WASSA NGO and at the same time she was a youth consultant program at the president office. She had the honor of being vice president at green international model united nation in 2018.Currently, she serves as a member of board of directors at IYAP Afghanistan.
