About the Position

IYAP Sri Lanka is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage the organization’s programs and activities in line with its mission and vision. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will lead the development and implementation of program strategies, ensure quality program delivery, monitor program performance, and manage program staff. The Program Manager will also collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and donors to strengthen program impact and achieve organizational goals.

Degree of expertise and Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as public health, social sciences, or business administration
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and partners
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Experience working with government agencies, foundations, and other funders
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Requirements, Performance Evaluation, and Responsibilities

  • Develop program plans and strategies in collaboration with other team members
  • Monitor program implementation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Supervise program staff and provide support and guidance as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and funders
  • Identify and manage risks associated with program implementation
  • Prepare and submit reports on program progress, outcomes, and impact
  • Ensure program activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Develop and manage program budgets and ensure financial accountability
  • The Program Manager will work closely with other staff members and stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of programs.
