Overview

Eco Optimism aims to raise social awareness on reducing climate change through storytelling, poster campaign, blog articles, etc. One of the key aspects of this project is storytelling. Through storytelling, we provide a platform for individuals and organizations, who have contributed to reduce climate change to share their stories to raise awareness and inspire people. Other than storytelling, this project implements a poster campaign, blog articles on climate change and a virtual discussion with an expert regarding this issue in order to raise awareness in the society.

Objectives

The main objectives of the projects are to raise awareness among people regarding climate change, collect stories from other organizations and people who have contributed to mitigate these climatic changes and share knowledge of expertise with the methods of further mitigating climate change. The main beneficiaries of this project are the youth between the ages of 18 to 30 and the schoolchildren from age of 6 to 18.

The outcome of this project is to encourage people to take actions individually or as a community, in order to reduce climatic changes.
