Introduction

The ‘COVID 19 Food Relief’ was carried out in response to the unexpected unfortunate situation that the people in rural Pakistan were dragged into, owing to the COVID 19 pandemic. It was identified that the inhabitants of rural Pakistani areas suffered due to the inability to access food sources, a situation which was exacerbated by the COVID 19 outburst. The Country Director of IYAP Pakistan, Mr. Rahul Jesrani, led by the innate passion and sensitivity towards his brothers and sisters, mobilized resources within a short period of time to distribute dry food and rations to nearly 100 families in the two villages of Kamber and Shahdadkot located in the province of Sindh, Pakistan during the latter part of the month of April 2020.

Mr. Jesrani stated happily, upon the completion of the mission, “I can’t do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good that I can do”.
