Project Manager (Community Development)

Create positive change at the grassroots level.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, International Relations, Peacebuilding, or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in project management, especially in peacebuilding or youth-focused initiatives.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Strong understanding of peacebuilding principles and youth engagement.

Attributes:

Highly organized with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Communications Specialist

Shape the narrative of IYAP through storytelling and content creation.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

3 - 4 years of experience in communication roles, preferably in non-profit or peacebuilding sectors.

Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
- Experience with media relations and public outreach.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia tools is a plus.

Attributes:

- Creative and innovative thinker.
- Strong networking abilities.

Advocacy Coordinator

Advocate for youth-friendly policies and represent the younger generation.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in advocacy, policy, or grassroots organizing, particularly in youth and peacebuilding.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of advocacy strategies and public policy.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to engage with policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in organizing campaigns, workshops, and events.
- Proficient in developing advocacy materials and policy briefs.

Attributes:

- Passionate about social justice and peacebuilding.
- Strong public speaking and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
