Are you a talented and passionate blogger? International Youth Alliance for Peace (IYAP) is seeking talented bloggers from around the world to expand our reach and make a lasting impact. By sharing your unique perspectives and experiences, you can raise awareness and inspire others to join us in building a more peaceful and sustainable world. This initiative also provides a valuable opportunity for young bloggers to develop their writing and communication skills while gaining experience in social advocacy.
Eligibility:
Age: We are primarily focused on engaging and empowering young people, so applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old.
Writing Skills: Strong writing skills in English and either Tamil or Sinhala are essential. We value clear and concise writing that effectively conveys ideas.
Interest in Peace Building and Sustainable Development: A demonstrated interest in peace building, human rights, and sustainable development is required. This can be reflected through academic background, work experience, or personal interests.
Commitment to IYAP’s Mission: Applicants should be committed to promoting peace, human rights, and sustainable development through education, advocacy, and community building.
Requirements:
Strong Writing Skills: Applicants must demonstrate clear and effective writing in English and either Tamil or Sinhala. A command of grammar, syntax, and punctuation is essential. We recommend submitting writing samples as part of the application.
Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Familiarity with platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram is crucial. The ability to create engaging and informative content that reaches a wider audience is highly valued.
Interest in Peace Building and Sustainable Development: A genuine interest in peace building, human rights, and sustainable development is essential, along with relevant academic or professional experience.
Ability to Meet Deadlines: Bloggers must consistently submit their posts on time. Effective time management skills are necessary.

Fill out the application form: On the Volunteer Form page, you’ll find an application form to complete. Provide basic information, such as your name, age, and contact details, along with writing samples and a brief statement of interest.
Submit the application: Once your application is complete, submit it through the online form. You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application.
Wait for a response: Our team will review applications and respond within a reasonable period. Successful applicants will be invited to become bloggers for IYAP, receiving more information about the program.

Attending Events: Bloggers may be invited to attend events related to peace building, human rights, and sustainable development, providing coverage through articles, social media content, or other relevant materials.
Collaborating with Other Bloggers: Collaboration with fellow bloggers and IYAP community members to generate ideas, share knowledge, and expertise.
Meeting Deadlines: Consistently submitting articles and other deliverables within set deadlines.
Promoting IYAP’s Mission and Values: Advocating for IYAP’s mission and values through blogging and interactions with others.
