Welcome to the Empower Media Literacy Online Course!

Our mission is to equip and educate 30 dynamic young minds from South Asia in media literacy and fact-checking. In collaboration with IYAP Global and Media Development Foundation Georgia, we’re thrilled to present this transformative 10-day course scheduled for July 2023. Conducted via MS Teams in English, these weekly sessions will empower participants with essential skills to navigate today’s information landscape.

Who Should Attend:

This course is tailored for 30 young minds aged 21-35 from South Asia. Ideal participants possess an enthusiasm for media, journalism, or related fields and are proficient in basic computer literacy.

Methodology:

Sessions will be conducted on MS Teams, offering participants from across regions an opportunity to engage remotely. Each 120-minute session will blend insightful presentations, interactive discussions, group activities, and hands-on exercises.

Our International Trainers from Media Development Foundation Georgia, will deliver engaging sessions enriched with real-world examples and case studies. Pre-session readings, assignments, and collaborative group exercises will reinforce learning, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas.
