Introduction:

The art of getting what you want is a skill that can be developed by anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort. It involves using confidence and technique to achieve your goals in life, relationships, and career. Let me begin with a story of my life, it was a very stormy day, rain pouring from all sides, the wind howling past me, I’m seated at my desk, like it’s the end of the world, staring at my emails with a heavy heart that I haven’t received any emails from anyone accepting me for the jobs I applied for. All of my friends were enrolled in some job, whether they liked it or not, trust me I might have modified my resume and cover letter several times describing my interest, thinking the problem was of not being compelling enough, I called my husband and started ranting about not getting an internship yet, I was asking if I have to just let go what I am interested in and just choose whatever is offered, thinking I am not suitable enough of what I want. He said No, keep trying, you are not losing anything, than all the rest who have already got offers, you have mastered a lot of skills, you have improved yourself in this process so much in every step, this would come in handy in your future tasks, don’t settle for something convenient because no matter what at the end of the day if that is something you are not interested in, not something you want to do, every step would feel like a whole load of burden. To master the art of life you need patience and trust in yourself, the best is yet to come, those who deserve you, would see who you are and what you are capable of. A few weeks pass by, with this motivation in mind I stay calm, still no reply, a few months pass and suddenly I start receiving multiple emails from several places I applied, on being shortlisted for several job offers, now the choice is mine to make!.

Your strength increases your success rates:
The first and foremost secret is being able to face the challenge, if you don’t; you are never going to realize what you are capable of. The problem with us today is we don’t want to get involved in something daring or risky to get what we want; we are used to being in the comfort zones and accepting the label of what others define us to be than showing them who we are capable of becoming. Because of Fear of failure, rejection, self-doubt, self-disrespect, lack of self-actualization, we create barriers to our happiness; we don’t see what we are capable of or who we are. Even when you are very smart you are able to guess all the possible negative outcomes, than seeing the positivity even if it’s one percent, this leads to failure, frustration, dissatisfaction, you need to be able to be bold enough to seek for the light and take up challenges with abundance of hope. This leads towards the path of success.

Importance of consistence:
So how could we know what we are capable of, how can we get what we want, we need to question and understand it then strive for it, instead of seeking for availabilities given to you by others, why don’t you create the availability for you. Start taking your steps little by little and trust me you’ll be there before you know it. Without trying you can’t fail. Without failing you cannot succeed. Give yourself a couple numbers of chances, Be open to ideas, Let your mind free, Brainstorm, Search, Try, Fail, Try Again, without losing hope. The more you try the more you would succeed. You might not achieve what you want in lightning speed, but gradually you are polishing yourself for it. Every attempt brings a lesson in your life, it opens up new avenues, makes you stronger, helps you get rid of the fear of disappointment and weaknesses. You ultimately define who you are. Here are a few more tips to enhance the brilliant person you are.

Define Your Goals Clearly, The first step to getting what you want is to know exactly what you want. You need to have a clear understanding of your goals and objectives. Write down your goals and break them down into smaller, achievable steps. This will help you to stay focused and motivated.
Believing and knowing Yourself is an essential component of confidence. You need to believe that you are capable of achieving your goals. The more you believe in yourself, the more confident you will become. This will help you to take risks and step out of your comfort zone. Follow your gut, understand what makes you happy and content, and follow the path of achieving that state of mind in your life, career, relationships. Engage yourself in working towards practicing them, taking action to succeed in them.
Develop Your Communication Skills, by being able to articulate your thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively. Work on your speaking skills, and practice active listening. Learn to read body language and adjust your communication style accordingly. Be capable of expressing what you want, don’t expect people to mind read you, be transparent on what you expect others should understand of you. There’s no miracle for understanding if not for clear and truthful communication.
You need to be willing to persevere in the face of obstacles and setbacks. Don’t give up at the first sign of difficulty. Instead, find ways to overcome the obstacles and keep pushing forward.
You need to surround yourself with supportive people who will encourage you and help you to achieve your goals. Network with people in your field, attend events and conferences, and seek out mentors who can offer guidance and support.
Take Calculated Risks, You need to be willing to take calculated risks, even if there is a chance of failure. Evaluate the risks and rewards before making a decision, and be prepared to learn from any mistakes that you make.
Develop Resilience, It is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges. It’s an essential trait for anyone who wants to achieve their goals. Develop resilience by practicing mindfulness, staying positive, and finding healthy ways to cope with stress.
Practice Gratitude, It is a powerful tool that can help you to achieve your goals. By practicing gratitude, you will focus on the positive aspects of your life, which will help to attract more positivity into your life. Take time each day to reflect on the things that you are grateful for.
Celebrate Your Successes, when you achieve a goal, take time to acknowledge your hard work and celebrate your accomplishments. This will help to boost your confidence and motivate you to achieve even more. Positive reinforcement always is a key to success.
